Help answer this question below.

I work in a big company, and i really do a lot of work here, almost everybody depends on me in one way or another, but my boss keeps bushing on me to work harder, should i take a long vacation to show them what happens when i'm off, what do you think?

    If you have the time to hell yes! Let them see how bad it might be when your not there. You never know when you get back it could have been so bad maybe they'll throw you a raise!

    you could do but chances are you go on holiday and leave everything efficiently completed but all that happens is they fill your work surface with work for you to deal with when you come back. This is usually the case when someone who should learn to say no more and perhaps delegate some tasks to others, needs to do. Chances are if you carry on at this rate, you will burn out physically, have to take time off work and meanwhile someone has taken advantage and tries to or eventually takes your place. Look after yourself.
