  • Not really a set test or program, no. But you can run basic tests on it, like bypassing the router and going direct into the modem. IF it works on the modem ( You might have to enter a Static IP Address into your computer if you do this, or it wont work either ) then your router might just need to be reconfigured. If you do have a static IP then re-enter it onto the router and see if that fixes the issue. If it doesn't, do a factory reset on the router, typically there is a button on the back you press for around 10 - 30 sec and it will put all the settings back to when you first took it out of the box. Reprogram it accordingly and then try. If it still doesn't work, try a firmware upgrade ( do this anyway, it improves stability ) from the router's webpage. If that still doesn't work, safe to say it is dead.
