  • We don't tip here. But I think the established average in the US is 15% of the total, no?
  • 20% is my usual tip, but if the driver is friendly, or delivered quickly, or you feel nice, then give 25% and maybe more if he's in collage. Also Take note that many pizza places keep track of how much you tip and it may affect how your order is prioritized next time you call for a double pepperoni, extra cheese with yogurt instead of tomato sauce.... They will remember.
  • As I've been dirt-poor (read: gawddamned hungry!) when starting out & hadda lotsa menial minimum-wage McJobs, I tip *very* heavily for pizza delivery, usually 40-50% of the total bill. Of course, the pizza in California truly sucks (I was forever spoiled in this regard by growing up about 125 miles from NYC), so its really not that often. Sheeeet - do ya' think I oughtta order it delivered more?!
  • I always tip $5, since I only order a small or medium for the grandkids when they come to visit. I'm not much of a pizza person.
  • ALWAYS tip your pizza driver! Especially with the price of gas these days! I am a pizza delivery driver and more days then not I make min wage of $6.25 without tips I loose money on gas and really appreciate those who can and do tip. thanks
  • I order online and get an estimated delivery time...My base tip is prolly around 20-25%...if they get here earlier than the estimated time I give more, if later I give less. They'd have to really screw up to get less than 15% tho. One delivery guy knows me by name and called me when he was running late one day. I tipped him more. Excellent service is hard to find these days.
  • I've always tip $10 no matter what, I think if I'm to lazy to go out to my vehicle and pick up a pizza, I rather just give them the money.
  • I give 3.00 or 4.00 dollars
  • Tip at least $3. Never tip below 20% for pizza delivery. The Drivers have to pay their own gas (mostly), and use their own cars. Some dont get wages, only the delivery fee and tips. Many of the larger chains take part or most of the delivery fee.
