The research i've done have 2 ideas one is that as an angel Lucifer was devoted to god. One of gods commandments is there shall be no other compaired to god or something like that. When god created man he wanted the angels to show their devotion to gods greatest creation. Lucifer, remembering the commandment would not to it. We know the rest from here the second is that as the great angel, his pride caused his own downfall. ive seen other ideas but normally it all boils down the Lucifers pride being his on downfall.

first of all lucifer didnt think he was better he just thought it was wrong for there to be a number 1, it felt wrong to him it should have been us all together, instead of him and us. so he cast satan into hell. blah blah blah present day gods archangels wouldnt fight lucifer because lucifer wouldnt fight them. the other angels seen their god of love sent them to fight and all hope was lost instead of loving they fought....

Does the bully have to be provoked before he starts to pick on those that are smaller than him? Of course not. This is the nature of the bully. He simply picks on those that are weaker than him because he enjoys picking on people. He may try to excuse his bad behavior by claiming that his victim did something to provoke him, but that is just him trying to escape responsibility for his actions. - So, why do you assume that God must have done something to provoke Lucifer? This is not the case. Lucifer, in his pride, thought that he was better than God. This led him to rebel against God and brought upon him the consequences of his actions.

God did not provoke Lucifer, just as he did for mankind, he gave the angels free will & Lucifer challanged God to try & be the #1 God-no one can be above our creator. You must not read your Bible. Wings and Prayers.

God did nothing to them. Just as Adam and Eve rejected God for one moment, so did any fallen angels.

Lucifer was fired for insubordination. He and his union organizers were then severely downsized.
