Take it to a prefessional. The damage that can be done could be insanely expensive. I hate to pay mechanics too but this is one instance where I would. They have the proper tools and experience.

If you must do it yourself, soak the threads with WD-40 and let soak overnight. Then slide a potato down over what's left of the spindle and turn to the left. It should come out.

I have had this happen before. Go to an auto store and buy a dremel. You can use it to get the Spark Plug out.

So how did this turn out? Did you get it out without further incidence?

use an ezout tool it is like a cork screw in reverse. i had the same trouble and it worked great. you can get it at any auto parts store
