Help answer this question below.

After work my truck wouldnt start. it would turn over, but not start. my brother thought it was my fuel pump. the other day i tried to start it but it wouldnt even turn over. my lights on the dash still came on though. do u know whats wrong%

    The last 47 times this happened to me, it was one of:
    1) Dead battery
    2) Battery too old/worn to take a charge.
    3) Battery with insufficient CCA when it was not just cold but FUCKING COLD!!!! A mere 610 CCA at 32F will leave one stranded at <0F. I go for 625A @ 0F for a four-banger.

    I would disconnect the battery and load test. you can pull it out and take it to the auto parts and they will test for free.If the battery is good the starter is probably bad.If the battery is bad you will need to test the alternator it should read 14 volts.be sure all your cable connections are tight.
