Help answer this question below.
The last 47 times this happened to me, it was one of:
1) Dead battery
2) Battery too old/worn to take a charge.
3) Battery with insufficient CCA when it was not just cold but FUCKING COLD!!!! A mere 610 CCA at 32F will leave one stranded at <0F. I go for 625A @ 0F for a four-banger.
try resetting your fule pump inertia switch if equipped
I would disconnect the battery and load test. you can pull it out and take it to the auto parts and they will test for free.If the battery is good the starter is probably bad.If the battery is bad you will need to test the alternator it should read 14 volts.be sure all your cable connections are tight.

You're reading After work my truck wouldnt start. it would turn over, but not start. my brother thought it was my fuel pump. the other day i tried to start it but it wouldnt even turn over. my lights on the dash still came on though. do u know whats wrong%

Right you are Jerv. A low battery will allow dash lights etc. but won't deliver enough juice to power a high volume fuel pump.

I never realized how many amps it takes to crank a Subi at -20F until I bought one with a "summer" battery. Flatlanders don't set their cars up to survive a NH winter.

Ah, Jerv my friend. New Hampshire winters are just 1 of the MANY reasons why I live on the PACIFIC coast!!! :)

Give me the $5K it'd take to settle up here and move and I would go to Seattle in a heartbeat. I have friends out there who could hook me up with a job with better pay, an apartment with lower rent....
Please, donate to the "move Jerv's ass across the continent" fund!
.
That said, I will NEVER live in SoCal again. Ever.

I'm on central Oregon coast. You make it to Seattle, we'd be neighbors!
