it depends on what part of her brain was effected, and how badly. sometimes there's no way to tell. our family friend ed did, but my aunt didnt. it just depends. you and your family will be in my thoughts.
-
I can't say that she will get it back but there is always a chance. My neighbor had a stroke. He went from almost a vegetable to a close to full recovery.
-
You can never say for definite but with Speech therapy and a lot of hard work and sometimes frustration yes it is possible.
-
The only person that knows the answer to that is God. You just have to wait and see how she is going to work through her situation. It depends on alot of factors, her age, her health, that kind of thing. But you never know.

Oh dear, is this the lady we spoke about before?? Ive heard of people having speech therapy for this, but it takes a lot of time and patience. Also it will depend how bad things are and how well she responds to therapy. Thinking of you all xxx

She can get her Speech back. But it will take Dedication. Now i am not trying to sound mean but this is what they told me when my Mother had a stroke. She will have to go through Speech Therapy it is like a child learning to speak and words and all. She will have to go through that process all over again.

yes, strokes can be of differing lefvels of effect. Some people manage to get a lot of their movement and speechj back, it really depends on how bad her stroke was, and yes it can take a long time , and lots of therapy, heres hoping for you all ! :)

it's possible. my favourite wrestler suffered a stroke in 2002. I'm not sure if he lost speech or not I do however know that he has a severe emotional imbalance and can't handle large crowds the way he used to it's not impossible if she gets the right care she might be able to speak again it depends on how severe the stroke was and what parts of the brain it affected if she can't speak again there are other ways to communicate such as sign language or writing things down on paper. Stroke recovery varies from person to person
-
yes she will, it will take time but slowly, slowly it will come back.
-
i'd say she can!.... most well... mabie some people recover from strokes.
-
I'm sorry to hear about your Aunt. I agree with the others; the brain has the capacity to rewire itself, but it needs help, support and effort for that to begin to happen. Good luck and take care of yourself too.
-
she may pray and ask the docotor if she can work with a specialist
-
Not without intense therapy.
-
Yes she will. It is a patient work to return back to self. My dear friend had a stoke and was completely paralized and could not talk. Now with physio therapy and speak therapy she is doing very well.
