It's pretty self explanatory really. It's a ball of hair found in a human. We generally associate this with felines because it's common, most of us have seen a cat coughing up a hairball at some point, even if only on tv, a comic, or something like that. But it can happen to any animal species. If a human is swallowing hair over a period of time for whatever reason then eventually they will get a hairball.

Its what I tell my hsb he's gonna have to snake out of the plumbing if he doesn't stop trimming his hair over the bathroom sink & washing it down the drain!
