Garfield. It was a terrible plastic mask with a rubber string to hold it on my head. I wore an orange sweatsuit with black stripes drawn on by a sharpie. Yeah, I was awesome.

I'm pretty sure it was Superman. I'll come back and post a picture if I can find it, I was super-adorable. I also remember being really mad at my parents because they made me wear a coat. Superman does NOT wear a coat, damn it!

It was in Detroit, Michigan..my mom took a picture of me dressed as a gypsy girl...I think I was all of two years old! Strangely, I vaguely remember the costume..it was so light and airy and pretty..I had a scarf draped around my head which had some sparkly bangles on it..I remember looking in the mirror a lot! :)
