Very strange to start with but i soon got used to them, do you at present wear bifocals, you will find it difficult to adjust as you willm be used to wearing bifocals, truthfully my experience was a little strange to getting used to wearing them but after a few weeks i was ok, i would advise you to wear them around the house first to get used to them before you venture out side in them, good luck.

A friend of mine got them and got some good advice. Soon after you get them, do something that requires good distance vision (watching a ball game or a movie); then do something that requires good close-up vision (sewing, reading, etc.). The idea is that if you use them to do something that absorbs you and you enjoy, it becomes easier to adapt to them.
