I hope not :P

Not something I had really thought about but I suppose it could.I think keeping the Blue bag default does make a difference. i am sure that the name you choose does have some effect on how you are treated.
-
no.
-
I'm sure it probably does. It's not all that different from real life where how we look affects how people perceive us.
-
I think it would. It says alot about a person, what the choose to 'represent' themselves.
-
i honestly never thought about it before. i guess it would since everything does, but i don't know how much really
-
Not that I have noticed.
-
i don't know. i'm a newbie on here. but, i'm also a member of yahoo answers and sometimes i used to get comments about my avatar ONLY. they wouldn't even bother answering my question. that can be frustrating esp when i have questions that i actually want answers.
-
I think when people look at me ( when my blue bag decides to disappear ) they see someone who likes to have some fun. Wanna have some fun:)
-
When I am using my regular avatar I get answers slanted in that direction. It's normally a bulldog.
-
Not that I'm aware of.
-
I think it does. This avatar seem to get more attention than other one that I have use. Which do you like this one these?
-
Personally, it only effects the answers I GIVE in that I am more likely to be drawn towards a question if I recognize a friend's avatar next to it....I'll think, "Oh, well, so-and-so answered this one, and I really respect them, so let's check it out"
-
Other then the aspect of recognition and knowing who has what avatar, I would hope not. Maybe people do judge each other in real life through style and looks, so I guess it can happen online too, but I'd hate to think that we're judged by image choice, even if a lot of the times, people pick something that they think represents them, a part of them or simply something they're attracted to. We can consider that, but I think it's a little too vague to make proper judgement on. I really don't think people do it that much though, other then attribution and recognition, which in the end has nothing to do with the avatar itself in relation to what its user is saying.

Only musical or relationship ones. Some people don't think professional musicians (past and present) are real people.
-
Not mine. I think some might. Yarnlady... if you reupload your avatar the blue bag goes away. :)
-
Yes, right now, I'm rocking with an old man theme and it has definately increased my downrates! another reason why getting old sucks!
-
I'm pleasantly surprised at the number of people who look at my avatar and can still take me seriously. ;)
-
No I don't think so. Since if the question has already been answered, it shows another persons avatar and username. I think most people on here scan for questions they feel like answering.
-
Honesty, I don't know, because I'm not able to read their minds.
-
im sure it prolly does, but shouldnt.
-
no one could resist the krispy kremes!!
-
It probably shouldn't, but I believe it does.
-
I don't think so, a lot of people can't even tell what it is.
