Do feel that your best qualities are invisible to most people, or do most people seem to acknowledge them?

It's interesting that you ask that. Hubby and I were just talking at dinner today and he told me something that I've always thought, and that is that I'm a very underestimated individual. I'm a lot more intelligent than I let on.

I can't speak for most people right now. My mother is visiting from the mainland, and it's all I can do to keep her happy without worrying about the other 6 billion people around. Bye. Gotta go take care of Mom.

Your question reminds me of a statement that Dr. Jack Hyles made a few years ago. "Greatness is in the preparation, not in the performance." There are a few things about me that impress people. However, most people tend to say, "he's very talented" which I don't know if I am or not. I do know that I have passion for a few things, and because of it, I work really hard in those areas.

Oddly enough I think for most people its the other way around... We don't acknowledge our best qualities but other people do. Atleast thats what I notice with myself and people around me. Its easier to acknowledge our flaws than our best qualities. We may know what our best qualities are but it doesn't mean we acknowledge them.

I'm blessed to have people acknowledge the qualities I have and to mentor me on qualities I lack both at work and at home... :-)
