I happen to be a 17 year old girl. So I guess I'll answer your question. Female attraction to guys is based somewhat less on physical appearance than the latter. Notice how you sometimes see really pretty girls with not-so-great looking guys? That's because there has to be the emotional part too. You have to be trustworthy, loyal, kind, funny. Girls notice whether or not you are nice to your mother and/or sister(s). It makes a difference.

I'm 17 years old (but not for long as my birthday is rapidly approaching). Today, this is my idea of a great guy: He's a sweetheart. He's very loyal to me and cares about me as much as or more than he cares about himself. He loves me for me and he appreciates me for who I am. He talks to me and gets to know me. He doesn't use me. He's a very good friend. He is straight up with me and doesn't feel the need to fake who he is around me. He treats custodians, waitresses, and sales clerks with respect. He acknowledges my existence and he's very polite. He doesn't judge me for my appearance. Instead of complaining about something, he tries to fix it. He loves to make me laugh, but he knows when to be serious. He doesn't hide things from me. He doesn't try to impress me. He just shows me he loves me by being himself. I can go on, but I'll stop now.

well im 17 so... i usually go for the shy ones idk why but i just do. personality wise...he has to be sweet, kind, cute (the way they act), funny, caring, tough, thoughful, smart, respctful trustworthy and trusting he just has to be able to listen to me and trust me enough to tell me his things...he needs to be proud to be with me and not ignore me when he's with his friends. i want him to hold me, kiss me, even if there are people around. he has to be romantic and spontaneous, fun and playful...lol i can keep going but it'll be too much.lol
