  • I had a great time in HS. I was Prom Queen, Homecoming Queen, President of Student Council, graduated 3rd in my class... there were definitely some hard times, but I think I turned out ok.
  • I think it's tough to generalize. My high school experience was fun but I wasn't an exemplary student. Your life is what you make of it at the time you are living it.
  • No I don't think that someone who had a fabulous time turn out more successful or vice versa. The reason being...I have a girlfriend who was very popular and a cheerleader etc. who now lives vicariously through their school age children! She pushes her children to be cheerleaders or popular etc. This puts too much pressure on the children and the parent is living her "glory" through the child! She is more disappointed than the child if child didn't make the squad etc. She{mom} doesn't have a life outside of her child and is not a very happy person.Am I totally off base here?
  • Being successful in later stages of life all depends on how well you perform...its all about how you fare on the big day....At the same time I do accept that schooling gives a better start to that success.
  • It all depends on what you worried about when you were in school. If your only goal was to dress to look cool, well that wears quickly outside of school. If you had a fabulous time because you were learning skills (in play or study), then you can use that to succeed.
