IQ itself is a poor way of testing someone's intelligence. They can't be accurate, 'cause I got 121 in one and 152 on another.

I've taken a couple of online tests as well as mensa tests. My scores are fairly consistant, and high enough to join Mensa, but I would never join that group. There was also a set of tests when I was in grade school call the "Iowa Basic Tests", or something like that. I scored perfect every time. My teacher wanted to put me in an advanced program, but I wanted to be with my friends.

No, they are not very accurate at all. In order for an *accurate* test it would need to be administered from a certified psychtometrist. And even then the results aren't guaranteed. That's one of the MANY reasons IQ isn't a great indicator of intelligence, but unfortunately it's the best measure we have.

It appears that everyone on answerbag has an IQ of 130 or over, if you look at some of the other related questions that have been asked here before. Then, you tell me what you think about the accuracy of an IQ test.
