What do you suspect would happen if, instead of a zombie eating a human, a human ate a zombie?

If a zombie eats a humble human, he will eat humble pie.

Everyone knows that you become a zombie by being infected by the Solenum Virus. Solenum is transmitted in any fluid, like saliva, that's why the zombie bite turns someone. If we were to eat a zombie, we would consume a part of the solenum virus and the same thing would happen. We would have to admit that we just ate a dead guy and then we'd be a zombie.

The zombie would go back to being a healthy living person. Nah, that would be silly. I'm sure you'd become a zombie if you were to consume infected flesh, as the infection would get into your system and start spreading.

Maybe the zombie would turn back into a human...this is something which should be tested in a zombie film, great question. And if it doesn't work and the human just gets sick and pukes from eating rotten flesh, then at the very least it will be a cool scene, an instant classic! I can see it now...*Hands in front of face.* But no, I don't think the human would become a zombie, as it would appear that the mythological remnant which today defines the zombie in entertainment is solely perpetrated by the bite and nothing more. The contagious effects seem to require specific triggering, as opposed to a lingering threat; if nothing more, this is the rule of the zombie, which makes it what it is...despite what Dr. Logan has to say about it. XD But still, they would get sick, or infected from rot and all...see, if it was an issue of contamination, then merely mixing your blood with that of the zombie's, as happens in many movies when an injured character is fighting them off would initialize the mutation, and it never does. But, it's not the same thing exactly, so it's very open to interpretation.

I'm pretty sure they did in the Night of the Living Dead. The old movie, one of the first. Nothing happened.
