If you're referring to peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, it's because they're simple, tasty, and healthy (peanut butter + whole wheat + milk = complete protein) if you're referring to that horrible video, i can't stand it!

i don't know but they are my weakness. If i ever when to a country that did not have peanut butter iwould have to take my own. and when i make a sandwhich there is like 1000 calories on it from all the peanut butter. Reese's big cups are my fav.

Not sure about all Americans, and I'm hardly a spokesman, but I have PB&J three or four times a week for my lunch. Simple, easy to make, cheap, and delicious as can be!! Who can ask for anything more? Extra crunchy with blackberry jam on wheat, if you're wondering.

I am not! and the truth is I haven't seen any adults having peanut butter sandwwiches for lunch, or even as an ocassional snack; what ever gave you the idea that Americans are obsessed with them?

I'm not from America. I think I never had peanut butter sandwich untill lately my auntie gave me the peanut butter and it was awesome. I was goin to get addicted but my friend loved it too so I gave it to him :( I guess it's tastes awesome that's why everyone is obsessed with it :)

I'm not a 'jelly' guy, but I love peanut butter. I eat a ton of it. I love it as a sandwich and I love it on toast. A peanut butter sandwich and a glass of milk is quick, easy, tasty, and filling. Mmmmmm... :)
