The governments today seem to be going toward being “mommy’s” …….every time anyone has any little problem the government tries to step in to “help out.” (examples from modern events) --- you lost your home because you couldn’t make the payments???......... Well, TOO BAD! YOU chose to buy more house than you could afford with an adjustable rate. ---you are in debt over your head because you overspent on your credit cards???............Well, TOO BAD!!!.........you are the one that overspent and weren’t responsible ---your lending business is going under because you were too lenient with who you gave out loans to??? …………Well, TOO BAD!!!...........bad business decisions is not an excuse just to get my tax dollars to keep your business above water. . Please understand, this doesn’t apply to giving money to charity……….if you wish to give your money to help those in needs that is your own freedom (one of many we enjoy in this great country) . But no where in the constitution does it say it is the governments job to help you out every time you have a problem…….that is part of freedom…. . In America you have all the freedom you need to succeed and prosper…………………but this also means you have the freedom to fail…………it is called being responsible.. . Ok, so, what’s your opinion?

I don't know if I would go as far as saying "Too Bad!”. I do agree with your stream of thinking. Is America here to bail out every failed venture? The interesting thing about it is that when it comes to qualifying for these bailouts it usually isn’t you or me, its the other guy.

I see ur point, but there are people who just cant get a job, or where they have been working for a very long time and very hard- the job didnt need u anymore or clossed down! Or people who get hurt and cant work, or people who have 3 kids and have to pay A LOT of money for child care (about $100-$200 avg/week per child) so they just stay out of work to care for their own children! There are very many surcumstances where people do HAVE to have the governments help!!! Even if u can get a job, min wag is what- around $6/hr! If 2 people worked 40 hours a week each and get min. wage, thats $240 each person BEFORE taxes are taken out which is gonna be like $150/week per person after taxes! Who can get a small little place, pay 4 electric, groceries, GAS-which is outragous, and the other things they need-clothing, diapers, wipes, ect! There are people who work hard but still cant afford to live on there own! Do u see what im saying?

"You want to move your labor force offshore so you can lay off Americans to have foreign labor at a fraction of the price..... TOO BAD!!!!! "You want to flood our country with your merchandise while not selling ours!" .... TOO BAD!!!!! "You want to import illegal labor so you don't have to pay taxes and real wages to Americans!..... TOO BAD!!!!! "You cant read or speak English!!.. TOO BAD!!! "Your to lazy to work!...TOO BAD!!! "You dont take care of yourself!" ..TOO BAD!!
