  • Not really. I kind of follow what's going on just to be aware, but I don't live, breathe politics. It's like checking the weather, it's nice to know but I don't really care whether it rains or not.
  • They didn't used to be, but my husband is real big in it. So, I feel that the only time I get to talk to him is when we are talking politics. So now politics seems to be a big part of our life and thats about all.
  • Only if i have the TV on.
  • Of course, I don't see how it can't be important knowing how your country is being ruled
  • Only because I have more time now. At 35, I was too busy with responsibilities as a single mom, and in high school, too many things goin' on. I think I was better off then. Now, even though I've participated in events trying to change things, it all turns out to just be more frustrating. I was better off ignorant.
  • They are not as important to me as they should be. There are a few reasons for this: 1) I do not believe I can make a difference with my vote, 2) when I realized about, I think they are called, "riders" on bills up for vote and the electoral vote I also realized that I am never going to understand politics, 3) I do not believe that politicians EVER tell the truth. However, I also realize that if I am going to b*tch about politics, I have to vote. I drug myself out to vote against Dubya and I am going to drag myself out to vote against McCain because he is another warmongerer and I do not believe that America can financially survive much more of this. I am going to learn more about politics, also, because I want to understand... or at least as much as I can. I have an impressive number attached to me as my "IQ" but, for some reason, I have a great deal of difficulty with politics.
  • Nope, I really couldnt care less.
