I believe he was a philosopher because of his wonderful parables.

He was a smart man. He was Jewish, and he saw flaws in the religion. He knew that it was a religion of outward goodness, and he saw that it had become just that, and nothing more. When reading the gospels from a Jewish perspective, he was just trying to reform the system. He was no son of god, no messiah. He just tried to reform things. He even said that he never wanted to change the law, but bring and about a deeper understanding of it.

I believe He is the Son of Man, the Christ. He was a rebel. If he is not the Son of Man, then he is clearly mad and a liar.

Son of God. He had to have been either a liar, lunatic, or Lord. His teachings were far from diabolical. If he was a lunatic then that lunatic managed to stump the learned men of his day at every turn. If he was a political rebel he chose an impossible way to rebel: to tell people to pay their taxes and refuse to draw their swords on the authorities.

JESUS is the SON OF GOD.....not HE was...GOD spoke of HIS coming in the OLD TESTAMENT and the Jews asked for a KING....GOD sent them a KING but they didn't like who HE sent as their KING...they rejected HIM. I guess HIM coming into town on a donkey was just not what they had invisioned.....I beleive JESUS CHRIST was given to us as another chance to accept GOD thru HIM. HE came in person as the sacrificial LAMB to make atonement for our sins...so that one day we would be able to join GOD in heaven as the spirits we once were before we were born here on earth....the BIBLE says HE knew us even beore we were born....that is why I believe we once were in heaven as spirits......I just know in my heart that this is all the truth and that JESUS CHRIST existed and still does.....HE ROSE AGAIN....

"Liar, Lunatic or Lord" is a false trilemma. Those aren't the only choices. He could also have been misrepresented, fictional, exaggerated, or a combination of many of these options.

I believe that Jesus was and is first and foremost the Son of God and Savior of the world. Political rebel? no. Mad man? no. Prophet? yes. Why do I believe this? because Scripture tells me.

The Jesus we know in the Bible probably probably shows more about the authors who wrote about him after his death than he does about the historical Jesus. About the historical Jesus, we know very little.

A historical figure we know very little about who Christianity took and invented as some man-god and leader of their faith to trump the religion of Judaism. Muhammad simply turned around and attempted the same thing via his "new revelations" given only to him via "Allah". Then others followed suit in such "divine" schemes: Joseph Smith, Ellen White, Herbert Armstrong, Jehovah's Witness creator, etc.
