  • I havn't in years. Its so full of contridictions and wrong-doings that it diminishes my faith, rather than increases it. EDIT: So I very rarely read the Bible, except maybe to check something for a whatever reason. I have about three sitting on my bookshelf at the moment - one is only the New Testament, one is a children's Bible and the third is the one I used in religion class in high school. I've never read it cover to cover, but I know pretty much the entire thing anyways. 12 years of Catholic schooling ftw. Instead of reading the Bible, I tend to listen to my gut feelings (which, I believe is the piece of God in all of us) and listen to songs with powerful meaning behind them. And having conversations with God as well. Praying seems fake to me - saying the Hail Mary five times, what's the real point in that? Conversations, even if they are more or less one sided, feel more natural to me.
  • most everyday..my day just doesn't seem right if I can't get it in..even if 10 minutes...it relaxes me, keeps me focused, and I learn more everytime about God....
