  • That would seem rather odd. No, I wouldn't expect them to monitor your finances.
  • n your acceptance packet, there is a sheet asking how your mission will be financed. Make a valiant effort to raise what money you can (sacrifice brings forth the blessings of heaven), but don't be embarrassed to approach your bishop. The bishop will probably approach a couple families in your ward to help out. If you are going to ask for financial help, be prudent in how you spend your money between now and then. Don't make major unnecessary purchases even though the Church won't monitor your finances.
  • Guy I'd SERIOUSLY consider any religion that says "Murder is not acceptable to God and CANNOT be forgiven" is WRONG. (Yours does and I know as I WAS a Mormon) if they give you flack, have them check out Saul of Tarsus's conversion to Damascus. Remember he PERSECUTED Christians..That includes MURDER but Jesus forgave him. But in any case, have a good time if you can deny the truth...
  • Listen to that: LDS, mission, ward... Sounds like you should be headed straight for an asylum
