  • The Sidekick II was actually made by T-Mobile. This means that it is not like Motorola or Nokia where the brand makes phones for differnt wireless providers. I had one and unfortunately there is no way to make it work with other providers.
  • First of all, the Sidekick was NOT made by T-Mobile. The Sidekick was made by Danger, or Sharp Electronics. The one in question was made by Danger, Inc. If you can find the unlock program or codes to unlock the phone's software, it can be used on other GSM carriers.
