Yes, they were wrongly removed. The website has been restored by the way. As a police officer I think that its important that citizens be able to make complaints or file grievances. Ratemycop.com might be a tool used to bash the police, which I suspect it is. People have the freedom of speech and to take this website down only makes the police look even worse.
