This morning in Texas a woman threw her 6 year old and 8 year old off a bridge onto a freeway and then she jumped. What could be so bad as to cause a person to do something so horrendous?

omg.. jesus. im speechless. that is so far beyond horrible. i don't know. i don't get it. why couldn't she just leave the kids? why do that? .. im sorry, not a very helpful answer at all here.. i just cant grasp when people do things like that. fine, kill yourself, but just leave the freaking kids alone!

Look up postpartum depression, although if the kids were that old I doubt that's what it was that she had. And how did she get the second kid over the edge? They were old enough to know what was going on and to fight or run after they saw their sibling go over...

Obviously this woman was mentally unbalanced. No one in their right mind would take out their kids. Off your own self if life is that bad, but the kids have a right to live.

I can't imagine, but she could have been on drugs or needing them by the sounds of it. I can only guess that she had mental issues and I am willing to bet, they are well documented. That's really awful.

Omg ! That is horrible. She must have been mentally ill to do such a terrible thing. I am shocked, but not surprised. It saddens me that there are such sick people out there.

Abusive husband & father maybe? If t was so bad that she thought this was the only way out for her and her children to escape that kind of life.

Her state of mind. A loss of three good people (you can argue that because she threw her kids off the bridge she was less than good but who in thier right mind would have done it if they were thinking clearly). That's a tragedy.
