Hurry, ran for cover.

A mousetrap would be a good idea. The most important thing is to stay calm. You might also want to make sure your food is safe from their reach.

You could do what one of my exes did: There was a mouse in the corner. She took off her shoe, snuck up on it, and WHAP!!. Then she put her shoe back on. I must admit that I turned a little green. It crunched. You could always set out some mouse traps if you can stomach the remains in them. Please do not put out poison if you have a pet, children, or if there are pets in the neighborhood. A poisoned mouse could get out of your house and kill a pet if it is caught before it dies by a local cat or dog. Also a poisoned mouse can die in your walls. That is, shall we say, unpleasant.

Plug it into your keyboard =)

You could do like my high-school chemistry teacher did. Sit on a stool with a plumber's helper. When it runs past, schloop! Mouse puree.
-
Catch it and let it go. It's only a mouse for godssake. Be humane.

Turn your TV to the cartoon channel and let Tom handle that mouse for you. LOL

Get Sylvester the cat to go after it.
