What's with all the wars on concepts? War on Terror? War on Drugs? These things are always going to be here. Is it just me or does having a War on Purple seem just as logical?

It's a metaphor, they aren't advocating sending troops to Terrorville to fight the indigenous people there and push them back. I think what you're trying to say is that having a "war" on terror and on drugs is a bit ridiculous and a bad choice of words - a notion that George Soros has tackled to some success, at least in my opinion.

You're right. Like poverty. Poverty is always going to exist, so let's shut down all aid programs (i.e. dismantle the so-called "War on Poverty) so that poverty runs rampant throughout America and undermines the economic, social, and political system.

How about a war on fly paper? Can you imagine trying to march through that crap? Drive a tank? We could spread a great big piece of fly paper out and make people have war there. Did I miss something? Fly paper?
