  • Two of my faves are: Legends of the Fall (I cry every time I see it) and The Truth About Cats and Dogs (cute!) I'm not ashamed, damn it!
  • I liked Juno does that count?
  • I liked a bunch of them, but don't tell HER! (Things like Uptown Girls--it was great!). As far as she's concerned, if a movie doesn't have an actor in it like Steven Segal, Bruce Willis, Vin Diesel, Mel Gibson, Jason Statham, Hulk Hogan, etc., then I won't enjoy it. Gotta keep appearances up. . .
  • No my favorite genre of movie, but 'The Notebook' was great.
  • Before Sunrise, The Science of Sleep, The Million Dollar Hotel, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I love romance movies when they're not boring pieces of sh**.
  • I don't know if it would be classified under "girlie" so much as it would fabulous, but I've always been a major sucker for Moulin Rouge.
  • wild at heart harold and maude
  • Play It Again Sam The Truth About Cats and Dogs. Something About Mary (perhaps that could considered more of a slapstick romance :p). Same Time, Next Year; An Unmarried Woman; and Coming Home which were all released 30 years ago.
  • Dirty Harry
  • Sleepless in Seattle. Maybe because I live in Seattle. But, it was good. Not too sappy.
  • I honestly can say that I never watched a "chick flick" (at least I don't think that I have). I don't go to the movies much especially with girls. It's just sitting there with your attention somewhere else other than the girl and you can't talk to each other for 2 hours. I prefer the mall or going out to get something to eat. . I will admit, however, that I have been on the verge of tears and cried from several movies. Off the top of my head Simon Birch and Waist Deep are two off the movies that had me covering my face and saying that I had something in my eyes.
  • "13 Going on 30" and "Ghost"!
  • Either , "Say Anything" or, "Serendipity" both with John Cusack, he was a lucky guy to get so many good movies under his belt! Great question Big Daddy, thanks!
  • I must admit after my (now ex-) wife replayed the A&E "Pride and Prejudice" miniseries multiple times, I began to appreciate some of the characters (Mr. Darcy reminded me a great deal of Worf on Star Trek: TNG) and some of the witty dialog. I'd still like to see a version where Elizabeth Bennett says "Shut up, Butt-munch!" to Lady Catherine De Bourgh instead of something like "I ask that you not importune me any further".
  • I really like Love Actually, have seen it a dozen times or so. Moulin Rouge is pretty great, Immortal Beloved is another good one.
  • We refer to those as "chic flicks" and to be honest most of them aren't bad. Shall We Dance...Good, 13 going on 30...goofy PS I love You...Nice but not plausable Wedding Planner...No The Lake House...Tossed it back in the lake A Good Year...This is a good one Two Weeks Notice...No guy is that stupid Rumor Has It...This one is right on the edge, close The Notebook...Haven't seen it Save the Last Dance...So So Broken Bridges...This is a good one Under the Tuscan Sun...Haven't watched it Along Came Polly...OK The Break-Up...OK You just gotta love net-flix
  • save the last dance was ok wedding planner was good
  • Heath Ledger and Kate Hudson star in: Four Feathers Best movie you never heard of.
  • I'm more of an action movie fan, but I will admit that I thought "Cold Mountain" with Nicole Kidman and Jude Law was a really good movie. It was mostly a chick flick, but it had just the right amount of action to go along with it too.
