  • Suicide... read this first If you are feeling suicidal now, please stop long enough to read this. It will only take about five minutes. I do not want to talk you out of your bad feelings. I am not a therapist or other mental health professional - only someone who knows what it is like to be in pain. I don’t know who you are, or why you are reading this page. I only know that for the moment, you’re reading it, and that is good. I can assume that you are here because you are troubled and considering ending your life. If it were possible, I would prefer to be there with you at this moment, to sit with you and talk, face to face and heart to heart. But since that is not possible, we will have to make do with this. http://www.metanoia.org/suicide/
  • Time is the greatest stress factor. Everything seems compressed, urgent, confused, unsteady. Factors all add up, past failures, physical pain, age, loss of a loved one, financial difficulties, homelessness or the thought of, drugs/alcohol. All these factors are compressed into a moment/night. Hope is the greatest Apple, a place to put your next step, light at the end of the tunnel. Hope that after the Night/darkness/pain will be a new morning . There are short term physical bandages of hope. Being a surviver of suicide, medically classified in coma and brain dead for one week with no eye response, it was Hope I found in a New EASTER morning that stops me from repeat suicide. There is always HOPE If someone is crying ... cry with them, if someone is in pain get them to a doctor, if someone is homeless cover them, if some has lost a lover be a friend and find other friends for them, if someone is on drugs get them to a detoxt center, but greatest of all help them find the new Life of Easter.
  • redacted to prevent personal hardship and pain to a fellow AB'er who should seek out therapy and treatment.
