What do the ribbons on your ab badge mean? i have seen lower level people with more ribbons that people who are higher levels? so what gets you a ribbon?

The Ribbons are basically telling people what Levels you are on

The ribbons serve to make distinctions between ranks. The color of the badge does so, too, but it is more important. The highest ranks are gold, the middle ranks are silver, and the lowest ranks are bronze. The number of ribbons determines the rank within the color group. (no ribbon - lowest, three ribbons - highest).

here is an example of someone with a lower level having more ribbons than someone with a higher level
