  • First off spend time with the ball. Kick the ball against a wall with both feet, juggle, or pass the ball with a partner. When you dribble you can really use all parts of your feet, inside, outside, instep, but usually use the outer part of your instep, the front part of the foot when dribbling, especially when dribbling at speed. The key to dribbling is touching the ball with each step, every time the foot comes down. This way you can keep close control of the ball. A simple drill is dribbling around a set of cones, with each part of both feet. Check out this site, has some great information: http://www.soccertraininginfo.com
