  • Get over it, and give the girl a chance. Maybe she seems immature because she is insecure. She might be a really good person, if given the opportunity to show her true self. If your friends will laugh and make fun of you, they could not be any more 'mature' than the girl you describe.
  • Your mother's doing it because the poor girl probably needs a friend, and you aren't doing anyone any favors by acting like you are about it. Put yourself in her shoes - regardless of if you like the brand she wears. How would you feel if EVERYONE at your school hated you, and when you had the chance to go hang out at the mall with a potential friend they were a complete jerk about it? How comfortable would you feel in a situation like that? You'll find in time that a lot of the people you are trying to impress now are going to be serving your drive thru breakfast at Mickey D's sometime in the future, and you'll laugh about caring. I'm posting this video because it REALLY HAPPENS to people. The song seems appropiate :-)
  • Grow up! I don't know about this other girl, but your question was really immature! Perhaps if you took the chance to get to know her on a more personal level you may find yourself with a new friend! And if your friends laugh at you because you are trying to get to know someone that they don't approve of, or think is "weird", than they are the ones who are not very good friends, and perhaps it is good that you are taking the opportunity to meet new ones!
  • You talk to her and do the thing you fear the most. Your so called "Friends" will not stick by you. As you can see you are merely a puppet to them. Once you break free of the bondage no one will ever want to talk to you. Talk to her for she probably was in the same postition you were in years ago but didn't feel like going down the hole yet again.
  • Is she that bad? If so, then you must invest in a disguise.
  • You and everyone at your school seem like horrible people.
