  • I don't have a legal answer, but I think you have to get permission in each state.
  • I do not know for sure, but I think you need to go to your local police station (in NY state) and ask them for a temporary permit to carry in whatever state you are going to. You will need a reason to do so and you will also need to local authorities permission.
  • Check with your area of coverage when you get them. Most states allow several surrounding states the right to carry them.
  • sure. but there is a special permit you must apply for called a ccw ( concealed carry weapon license) you would apply for a florida state issued non-resident ccw(if not a resident of florida). applying for this would allow you to legally carry in 30 to 40 states. to get a free application for such, you must request one from the following website:http://licgweb.doacs.state.fl.us/weapons/index.html
  • Only States that acknowledge New York CCW; however, if you're a retired law enforcement officer and have at least 15 years of service, you can qualify under HR-218 which will allow you to carry anywhere.
