I think it's child abuse. Sorry.

Pierced is one thing. The kid can take the piercings out if he wanted. But to gauge his ears, at 4 years old...that's ridiculous. That's like telling the kid that he has no choice whatsoever. He will be stuck with those stretched holes forever, unless he gets surgery later in life. I have to say that his parent's aren't the brightest crayons in the box.

What is gauged?
-
That is disgusting. He should make those decisions when he is older, not have it forced on him.
-
i agree with shammer. thats fucked up and its child abuse... i mean if you wanna put big holes in your ears whatever thats your decision... but not to your 4 year old boy
-
I think it is none of our business.
-
different strokes for different folks... not my baby, not my concern
-
That's just wrong. I am against all forms of child piercing, by the way, including and ESPECIALLY piercing a several-weeks-old girl's ears because it's "so darned cute".
-
Yeah that's pretty sick and ridiculous. It's not like the kid will someday be able to just take it out and say, "welp, sick of THOSE holes..." I'm sure when Mommy or Daddy said, "Hey sweetie, wanna get really cool earrings like mine?" the kid said heck yeah, but the kid is 4...unless it's a cultural thing, that's just not ok.

I feel no child should have piercings or tattoos until they are old enough to ask for them and take care of them on their own.
-
he most likely wanted it, i doubt they would have done it if he didnt but it sooo doesnt make it right. its like getting a kid a tattoo. gauges are perminant unless with surgery. it was dumb of them to do it. theres a reason your not allowed to do those things till your 18. im suprised the piercest let them do it if they hadnt done it themselves

Parents are crazy nowadays
-
how gauged were they?
-
What's the world coming to?
-

And the nominees for parents of the year are...

Could be a midge. Kiidding. Well have you seen what some children from African tribes wear? The women wear necklaces which extend their necks, a sign of beauty and maturity, they too have hoop ears, and tons of piercings. But seeing as this kid was most likely not from some tribe in Africa, I'd say his guardians are slightly carazy.
