during the winter when the days are shorter most house plants will go into a dormant period and will not grow. This is when the plant rests, and is good for the plants health. Some leaf drop can be normal. Rubber trees are known to drop leaves when moved or under watered, or in a draft, but as long as its only a few leaves don't worry. If you are loosing lots of leaves here are some things to consider is the plant over/under watered? is the plant in to big or to small of a container? is there a draft? is the plant getting any sunlight? is the soil you replanted with the correct type of soil for house plants? is the soil packed to tightly? is there a bug problem?
