  • Does he have a Wii ? :D
  • Another puppy?
  • I was going to suggest another puppy, but you say that's not an option. But it really works! How about a kitten? Or maybe there's doggy day care in your area? Interaction with a living thing is what your puppy craves when he's alone.
  • We have two pugs, one is a puppy and the other an adult. We keep ours in a kennel while we are at work. We put blankets and toys in there with them because if we were to leave them alone while we are at work, they would get so bored that the house would be tore up when we got home. Vets also suggest kennel training to potty train them from peeing in the house. As soon as you get home you let them go potty and that teaches them to hold it until you get home. See my picture attached.

  • A cat would be very pleased to keep him busy.
  • leave the radio on so that if he has no company - he can at least be calmed by human voices.
  • get a mirror so the puppy will feel like another dog is around and turn on some music or a television making sure the sound is not real loud so they hear something happening. this will be the best thing for your puppy.
