Yes I have no friends so usually I think i'm just being selfish by wanting a relationship but maybe find something in common with that person?

It happened when I started high school. There were two girls that I thought "wow! I want to know them more!" and I started talking to them. I just approached to them and started talking. I had no hesitation. I just knew that was what I needed to do and wanted to do. I have to say it was "the" instinct and one of the very very best move I made in my life. I wouldn't be who I am if I hadn't met them and became friends with them.

Yes, I have. All through school (I moved a lot) I did that and it always worked! I'd just start talking to them, asking them about themselves, and being nice to them and we'd end up best friends. But as an adult, it just doesn't work like that. I'm a stay at home mom and don't get out enough to spend time with someone long enough to become close friends, only casual acquaintances. I've picked out a few at our church, and tried to "chat them up" a bit but although they are friendly enough, they just move on and start talking to someone they are already friends with.
