The time that some Christians believe when Jesus will take believers into heaven and then rule the world for 1000yeras.

There is some debate as to when it will occur, most believe that it refers to Jesus taking his followers to heaven before the tribulation (the period of time where God will express his wrath upon the Earth for not following him) so as to spare them the suffering, some believe that it refers to when Christ returns and starts his one thousand year reign on Earth.

The Rapture is a Christian doctrine, although not a universal one. It refers to a time before the End of the World and Tribulation where Jesus will reappear and take His followers with Him to Heaven. Thus, His followers will be spared the tribulation (excruciating torture of all those left behind...a time when even death is taken from the world).

A false doctrine that is not in the Bible. Jesus is only returning once. Not once for the church and then once to conquer the earth.

The day the Lord will seperate the sheep from the goats and they must account for their actions. Then the mount of olives will be seperated in two and Jerusaelm and Israel will be restored. There will be a new heaven and earth.. All those who did not accept the Lord as their Saviour will be cast out of God's presence.

The cRapture isn't even mentioned in the Bible. But it's the notion that "True Believers' will be spared all of the suffering that we non-believers will get to enjoy, before the End-of-Daze.
