Do you ever thank Heavens for everything you have? For the family, the friends, the house, what else? For your children, if you have children and for everything?

I am thankful. Your question has made me wonder why we say "thank Heavens". I'm guessing it is a way of saying we are thankful for the circumstances that put us where we are and made it possible for us to have what we have. Thanking God sounds like God picked who would get to be lucky and who would not.

Yes, I give thanks each night when I pray. I'm especially thankful for my family and children and the ability to provide for them. Sometimes I feel guilty being blessed with good health, family, friends, etc when I still feel a bit empty inside.
