if you have ticks in your house and bed..you have a lot more serious problem than you know. vaccuuming and washing well, all surfaces including furniture... washing all bedding, including yours and the animals. spraying your yard...washing your pets and dipping them. washing yourselves thoroughly and good hygiene. bombing or spraying your house, with all the pets out side, with a flea and tick bomb. and children outside. keeping your yard mowed and your pets and childrren out of tick infested areas. maintain forever

The most effective method I can think of is fire. Start the fire at the base of the house (first floor, not basement) for the most effective cleansing.

ONE WAY IS TO SET OFF A BOMB IN YOUR HOME SINCE YOU HAVE TO BE GONE A FEW HOURS ITS A GOOD TIME TO TAKE YOUR PET TO BE TREATED OR SPEND A HOUR OUT IN YOUR OWN YARD SPRAYING IT WITH INSECTICIDE IF YOUR PET IS WITH YOU STILL YOU COULD FIRST BATH HIM THEN PUT OUT FRONT WHILE YOU SPRAY THE YARD THEN GO TO THE PARK OR SOMETHING TILL ITS SAFE TO RETURN HOME. I APPLY THE SMALL TUBES ADVANTAGE OR WHATEVER BRAND THERE ARE ALOT AN MOST ARE ABOUT THE SAME IVE TRIED A FEW CHEAPER OR EXPENSIVE IVE SEEN NO REAL DIFFERENCE MYSELF AN YOU APPLY THEM FROM THE TOP OF THERE SHOULDERS ON THERE BACK ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE TAIL THEN RUB IT IN MOST SMELL REALLY WELL AN REPEAT IT ABOUT ONCE A MONTH OR MONTH IN A HALF DEPENDING ON THE SEASON

Borax mixed with Neem oil .. around the bed and on the mattress after the bomb and make sure you mix it in well. You should wash everything .... I mean everything even your pillows in hot water and clorox with borax as well .. then leave in the dryer for a longer period of time than usuall this kills eggs, larva and such. After the flea bomb .. you should be good .. make sure to vacuum everyday .. dont get lazy cuz they will come back
