What do you think about a 'Messaging' system on AB? Do you get tired of having to contact people through comments? Or do you think it would ruin the whole point to AB? Or would it improve the community?

I, personally, think it would be nice, but would probably require at least ONE more server, just to handle the traffic. Isn't it easier to just swap AIM, MSIM, Y!IM, etc., IDs, and use them while you bag? Oh... It COULD improve the comment threads on answers, in that personal conversations would be handled in this system. By the same token, it may ruin AB, as limiting conversations to comment threads is one of the things that keeps people coming back, and makes AB a "social" site. Helluva conundrum, huh?
