  • I'd just take the piercers advice and go with what he/she said. Only because it's their profession and they are telling you this for a reason. You don't wanna start drinking too early and have it get all infected and nasty. Three weeks really isn't that long!
  • Since you are supposed to rinse with mouthwash after every meal, it does sound a bit long. I was under the impression that only excessive alcohol consumption was restricted. Alcohol can definitely slow down healing and inflame swelling. If you were advised to wait 3 weeks, then I would wait.
  • Take the piercer's advice. There's a reason he's the piercer, and you're not.
  • you can drink liquor after 30 minutes, but you cannot drink beer because the yeast will give you a yeast infection in your mouth.... NOT FUN
  • well i was told 48 hours after BUT spirits (vodka in paticular) was longer and you should wait untill fully healed, im sure you can wait just 3 weeks....no big deal
  • my piercer said that i could go home and get drunk on HARD LIQUOR tha tnight...just not beer...it will give u a yeast infection in ur tongue
