  • His presence was a liability to anyone around him since he draws excess attention from the enemy; I wouldn't want to be in a squad with such a high status target.
  • I think his presence there made him and his unit a bigger target. He should be sent to a lower profile area.
  • It's well documented that he wanted to go to Iraq and I'm sure he wanted to stay in Afghanistan himself. I'm also very proud of him that he feels that way, (as I am of all Brit squaddies). I'm also sure it would have been more dangerous than it needs to be for any soldier serving under his command, and he himself is probably at the top of the Taliban's most wanted list. As much as he wants to stay, I think it best for the troops under him that he comes home. I'd also hope he'll just get sent back once it all blows over.
  • well i think its fair because after all the english royal family would have to answer a lot of questions to the media if he was killed in action there and that would cause a scandel world wide.
  • I must admit i couldn't give a flying....! It was obvious they would find some excuse to get him out of there, after all he is royalty....and personally i'd rather have psychos fighting wars than someone who thinks its funny to wear a hitler costume at a party!
