Has anyone ever threatened to remove you from their friends list or actually removed you because you did not agree with an opinion of theirs, and you would not change your answer , or your comment on a thread?

No one's ever threatened me with that, but that doesn't mean it's never happened, LOL.

I've not come across that one yet Firebrand, it's something to look forward to. I suppose that I wouldn't respond to "emotional" blackmail then remove them first :o)

No not yet but I hope it never happens because I don't take too kindly to threats and would delete them myself if they ever said something like that too me.

Why would it matter if someone threatened that? I've not had that experience, I just got here. If someone doesn't like my answer or comment, that's not my problem. We can't all see eye to eye all of the time. It's not realistic. If I were threatened, I would immediately cease contact with that person. They have an agenda, and I'm not willing to stick around and find out what that is.

I've never been threatened with removal, but I am sure I've been removed from a list or two because I disagreed with someone.

NO one has ever threatened me like that but I know I have been removed from a list or two by people who didn't agree with me. Oh well, I guess they were there for their own reasons and didn't want to continue getting to know each other:-)

I expect that type of behavior out of my 7yr old not from mature people.Apparently this person has a problem that has nothing to do w/you.I have never had this problem but, if I did I would say~"Don't let the proverbial door hit you on the way out!"

I've never been threatened ....they just remove me. I think it's childish to remove someone just because you don't agree.

No. That would be pretty pointless, as I don't know who's friends list I'm on, and don't check to see if I'm still on them. Frankly, I don't give a rat's ass. I think making a big deal about who is or isn't on your friends list is pretty darn childish. It reminds me of junior high school, "Fine, you aren't my friend anymore, and you can't sit at my table at lunch." Jeez. Next thing you know, people are going to want to flag certain users as having the cooties.

It didn't happen yet. If it does, it will not bother me too much. If you look into the profiles of AB members who you might want to have as your friends, you can get a good idea of their basic opinions, and it would be rather strange in the first place to seek friendship with someone whose opinions you don't like. I do have friends with opinions that differ from mine, but that is fine, and I respect that. A discussion with only like-minded people is pretty pointless. I would cancel a friendship not because of different opinions, but because of rude and unfair behavior.

I know I have been removed from some, but they have never said anything to me as to why.
