Pretty much yes. We're lucky to be so in sync with each other and we 'get' each other. There's a lot of respect; if he didn't have respect for me then I'd have a damn hard time genuinely wanting to please him so much (we're in an alternative D/s relationship). He knows my limits (which aren't many) and respects them; and if he wants to do something that is close to a limit of mine and difficult for me to do, he's very understanding and helpful. Whatever he can do to help me make it easier for me, he does. Tit for tat, give and take. Some people think barking orders is all you have to do to be a 'dominant' which is complete BS, and all you have to be submissive is please someone. There's a complicated dynamic to it and it can be different for everyone. It's more of a mental need than a physical one.
