  • No. I would only assume they would use it to identify evidence at crime scenes. In that case, when they are running the evidence through the database, everyone in the US would be a suspect for a microsecond. We are above that. I believe that felons should have to pony up DNA and it should be kept on file for 10 years after they get out of jail, but then destroyed. I think storing DNA is un-American. Even if the government did nothing with it.
