Help answer this question below.

What causes a battery to lose its charge in a 1999 Nissan p/u truck? Now have the second battery, but still having the same problem. Alternator has been checked and it's okay. Also, it takes about a week for the battery to drain.

My battery inidicator on my 1999 Ford Ranger showed low, had the battery and alternator replaced. Original alternator lasted me 190,000 miles. Next day my battery indicator still showed low with both new alternator and battery. Truck starts and runs hmm.
