I would firstly suggest that you tell your friends and family that a phobia is not a laughing matter, it is serious. And also, I would suggest that you get psychological help. Psychologists can help with phobias. But this is only a suggetion.
To get rid of your fears and help all sorts of troubles, from fear to pain, please try EFT. It's a sort of tapping you do on different places on the body and it really works wonders. You can learn it free by downloading a manual at this website or there is a way for you to find practitioners. But most people just learn by themselves.

I know this might sound crazy but a psychiatrist can help, people have all different types of phobias, but counseling can usually help

You're reading I am terrified of thunder and lightning to the point I have panic attacks and cry. I don't know why. It's crazy and my family and friends make fun of me. I live in Vegas so it doesn't happen often but How can I get over this?
