I had this problem a few years ago, I consulted a Doctor (when I was having a check up on something else, didn't think it worth making specific appointment) and he said that one of the most common causes of dark circles other than sleep deprivation was a lack of iron in the diet, even to the extent of mild aneamia. If you are feeling generally low on energy as well, this could be the case. I would suggest you consult a Doctor or nutritionist before making drastic changes in your diet, but I found over the counter iron supplements really helpful.

You're reading I regularly sleep for at least 8 hours a night, however, I still find myself having dark rings under my eyes. What could be the cause?
