Can you play games online on PS3 like you can on the PS2? if so, do you have to pay? which games are capable?

Yes, PS3 games can play online. It is free, just like with the PS2. As for capable games, most games now are online compatible. Look at the back of your games case and it will say.

PS3 online is free, but extremely laggy and easier to loose connetion that XbOx Live, and i think there are Way less subscribers so it will take awhile to get into a match
